Rated 5 out of 5 by from Where to start? everything about this boot is spec I bought the "sister" to this very boot back in 1995. Today those boots still have the original laces, the heel has not worn, (and I 've worn these boots) there are no holes, and the only sign of wear now is one boot has started to peel at the little toe area. Oh certainly I bought another pair, (different color) a couple of years ago and that was because I wanted them in black. I love these boots, I wore them two yrs ago to a wedding in NY in a February snow storm. not only do they look "cool" and feel great all day, but they resilient as well. I can't say enough about t hem, I will always buy them, however since they are so resilient, they will probably outlast me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from great quality, uncomfortable fit I bought these shoes and am on my third week wearing them. The quality is great! the color is great. But the fit has been causing quite a bit of discomfort. When I lace up the boots and get them snug, they cause discomfort in the ankle region. The reason for that is there is some leather than overlaps and protrudes further out than at other spots. That spot is right where the ankle is located. So when you lace the boots up snug, they put extra pressure at that one spot. Ive worn them for over two weeks now, and there is still pain in my ankle. I've tried loosening the laces and it helps a little bit, but I don't have the proper ankle support now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heck of a Deal Got transferred to a construction jobsite in the Seattle area, this was one of my first purchases. Now that it's the rainy season I'm glad I did! Waterproof, comfortable, great support and good grip. I'm in these for 10-12 hours every day and no complaints. The boots are stiff, and the break-in period for me was about a week, but once the boots "learn" your feet they're as comfortable as any I've worn. It's hard to find a better waterproof steelie at this price point. The tall heel might take some getting used to if you normally wear flat soled boots but once you get the feel you'll never go back. If you're coming from cowboy boots or packers like I did, the fit feels perfectly natural.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Soles After only 8 months of wearing these boots, the soles on both of the boots fell off from the back end. Since i bought them at a going out of business sale, and I did not have my receipt, i couldn't return them for the one year warranty. I screwed the soles on from the inside and continue wearing them, though they are worn almost flat on the bottom because the tread shreds apart in large pieces. I work in home renovation and roofing, which is probably half the problem since they are designed for outdoors, but I still expected better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value for the money This is my 3rd pair of this model of Georgia boots. I am pleased with there comfort and waterproof performance. I walk in these miles per day, in various conditions, from pavement, to mud, some green concrete (oops , sorry guys). They hold up very well in soles, stitching, and leather but I wear them out.. flat out and its not by lack of craftsmanship.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great boot I've been buying Georgia Boots for my husband for many years. His last pair lasted over four years which is amazing for him. This year we bought a pair for our daughter and our son. They are all very happy with the boots. The only problem is that they are not as warm as the last ones we bought four years ago are. We couldn't find the exact pair that my husband had last had and while these are warm they aren't as warm as the others were. Other than that everyone loves these boots!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great looking boot and that about it. The boots look great, but it stops there. I've had these boots about three months now. Very important for me to have waterproof boots. These were supposed to be waterproof but my feet got soaked from just 2 inches of water! The other big issue I have with these boots is that the right boots has harder leather on the lower part and softer leather on the upper part which is great, however, the left boot is just the opposite and makes the two boots wear extremely different.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not up to my standard I thought i would try a pair of these boots since they were a bit cheaper than the red wing loggers i usually wear. Well that just didn't work out for me the boot was fairly comfortable to walk around the house in but after lacing them tight enough to really support my ankles the leather around the ankle area is just to large and rolls over the tongue of the boot and cuts into my ankles i can only image how it would be once the boots stretched out. I returned them and went to the red wing store the same day and got another pair of there logger boots. What a difference a few dollars makes in boots i guess it's true you get what you pay for. Been wearing red wing boots for at least 20 years and have always been comfortable and dry in them. Good luck to all that have these or plan to buy them just too big in the ankle area for me.
