Very Poor Quality

As other reviewers have mentioned and shown the quality of this machete is horrible. Gerber should be ashamed to put their name on this and I can't believe this is still in their product line. I've actually owned mine for a few years but never had an occasion to use it until a few days ago. After just a very short period of use clearing vines and small limbs the blade became bent and folded in several places.

Best Machete I Ever Had

I got one for my birthday as part of some camping gear. I used it for work bonfires , camping , you name it , it holds an edge and a saw on the back is really nice.

Gator Machetes. I Have One Of Each Of 3 Sizes.

Gator make a fine Machete. I have bought several over the years, and they are all still working me like a charm.
