[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gerber Gear Gator Machete Jr is a decent tool. It’s got some heft to it without being too heavy to handle. I appreciate that it has a sheath for storage with a Velcro strap so it stays secure. I used it to trim some shrubs in my yard and also tried it on some tree branches. The blade could be sharper, because it was slightly difficult to trim the tree branches, and they weren’t that thick. All in all, a decent machete for the cost.

Gerber Gator Machete Jr Is Portable And Lightweigh
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is excellent. I love this smaller version because is portable and lightweight. The grip is comfortable, and I used it to cut the palm tree branches that were always blocking my view. Definetely recommended!

Watch The Blades They Are Sharp
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with this item. I thought the blades wouldn’t be strong enough for wood and boy was i proven wrong. It handles really well and you have to watch how you handle the blades because its very sharp. Its not heavy but not light either. Right in the middle. The performance and great and i was at it for a few hour. Never any sudden dullness of the blades at all. Youll be very happy getting one of these

Great For Lawnwork!

I Really Liked It
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machete is a perfect size for me. It is nice and sharp and allows me to either saw or cut. It does take a bit of strength in your arms to use. I am a Gardner so I have been using it for weeds. I also cut a small tree with it. It works great.
