I received this knife as part of promotional bonus for signing up to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation about one year ago. I love this little knife. I own my own Machine Shop, where I specialize in restoring old cars and trucks, and I use this knife constantly for opening boxes of parts and cutting heavy duty rubber hoses for heaters. I have yet to change blades. I have read some of these other reviews where the owners are complaining that their knives broke while they were skinning an elk, or something like that, but chances are they were abusing the knife. Any tool will fail if its abused. Use this knife as it was intended and it will last a long time. Thank you.

From skinning to opening up way too many Amazon boxes, this thing cuts through anything with ease. I was worried about the durability of the blade considering it’s super easy to change, but it’s yet to break off or bend. The handle is super comfortable and as I mentioned earlier, the blade is super easy to change out and it actually does not require tools like says. If you’re needing a good folding knife with lots of versatility, look no further!

I bought this knife last season and put it in my cleaning kit. I used it for the first time on 11/9/2024. The knife worked well. I cleaned and replaced the blade. I used it for the second time today and a metal part that secures the blade broke. I’ve contacted Custer Service for a replacement. Hopefully that will happen in a timely manner.
