I love this multitool so much but the clip doesn’t work. I’ve bought two and lost both because they fell out of my pocket at work. I’m giving this 2 stars because I’m so sad I’ve lost two multitools and I need to emotionally recover.

My daughter bought me the Suspension NXT for my birthday. I'd already been using the original Suspension. The NXT has been great, especially with the original as a sidekick. No job too big, or too small. Ahem... This Gerber combo does it all!

I've had this Gerber for over 5 years.  My original Gerber I've had for over 30yrs.    I carry this one on my Police Belt.  It has come in Handy Countless times.  I carried My Original Gerber during My Military Time

Not Properly Tempered Evidently

The first one I bought was lost within two weeks because the pocket clip was weak and bent easily. I bought another. It lasted a month until the needle nose broke trying to loosen a small bolt. Bought another. Attempted to cut a peice wire and part of the frame broke near the needle nose rendering it unusable. This time I had the receipt and returned it for another. I kept it in a tighter pocket because of past issues. As I got out of my truck today the clip caught the steering wheel and bent as it was being snatched out of my pocket. I can do without the clip but this tool breaks, and it will, I think I'm done with gerber.

Amazing

I got this as a gift for Christmas and it is amazing the blade came sharp and I haven’t had to sharpen anything yet because it’s been so good

Bang For Your Buck

For the price these are a good buy instead of a good-bye. For work I use the knife and the little scissors a lot to cut film. My only gripe is the pin for the scissors broke and made every loose. It's still useful and I use it almost everyday. I use it more then my 100 dollar leatherman

Not For Edc, Breaks Easily

I carried one of these for 2 years, and I've had multiple issues. The belt clip bent pretty quickly. I was able to mostly bend it back with an arbor press, just make sure you're not pressing on the locking mechanism. I chipped 2 of the flat screwdrivers on a stubborn screw, but was able to grind it back into shape. The spring on the scissors broke from fatigue, and I've found that to be impossible to fix. The screws holding the knife together seem to be loctited, and replacement parts aren't sold, so your repair options are limited.

Belt Clip Is Not Great At All

The tools work well and I like that they can be used with the pliers closed. The belt clip last about a month and got caught on something and is now bent out and kind of pointless. Guess I need some kind of pouch now...

This tool is just wonderful for me. I've used this for working around the resort and found that it does everything I need it to and more. Very well built and is just a great piece of equipment all around

Dude

Good enough for what it is. The clip was pretty cool, until it bent out. I removed the torx screw holding it in and bent the clip in so many times, the torx head is all buggered up and needs replacing. Next time I remove it, the cheap ass belt clip is going away.

Another Clip Issue

Same as some other commenters, the clip is the only fault. Tools held up to very heavy use for a year, but the clip first bent and then total snapped. Needs to be much tougher.

Overall Good

I've used this tool for 2 years now overall a very handy tool. I love and hate the pocket clip. I like that I have a wide variety of tools without a belt pouch. Makes it good to carry everywhere. That being said the belt clip is very soft out of the package. I have lost this tool many times in my truck or tight spots.. A solution I found was to take the clip off and bend it inwards alot to create more pressure. Haven't had an issue yet been about 6 months since then.

Good And Bad

The multi tool itself i thoroughly enjoyed when you treat it properly as a light duty tool. But the pocket clip is the issue. The pocket clip is originally why i picked one up and why overall i hate this tool. For weeks it would just fall out of my pocket, bent the clip to be tighter and it didn't help. Eventually i got home from work one day it was just gone entirely. Someone elses problem now.
