Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dont be a foolWear your helmet Wife bought this for me in green so I would be safe and visible when riding. I made excuses and left it at home every chance I could and lied to my wife saying i was wearing it when it had never been on my head. A few days ago while heading out for a ride i hit some gravel (a block from the house) and went down. Thankfully i did not hit my head. I was scared and afraid of what could have happened though. I went back home and got the helmet. It actually fits great and is very cool due to the awesome vents. I am glad my wife loves me and got me this helmet. Now i just need to keep wearing it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent helmet I have never really been a “serious biker” and done the helmet thing. My kids wore them and my husband who is a lot more into biking wears one. A few weeks ago i was going to go on a ride with a friend when I noticed my bike had a flat. I asked my husband if I could borrow his bike. He told me sure but be very Careful as he had just put new brakes on it. Kiddingly i asked “like wear a helmet carefull” he just nodded and handed me his giro fixture helmet. I put it on and headed off. A few miles into the ride i saw a cat dart in front of me and i did a panic stop Apparently squeezing the front brake tooo hard and went endo. I landed square on my head and destroyed the helmet. I was very thankful i had it on and did not get seriously hurt. We are now buying matching helmets.

It's very comfortable with a suspension similar to a hard hat and the twist knob for tightness is super. Has a small visor for sun or rain and allows adequate air to cool ur head. AND it doesn't look like a football on ur head. Already tested it on a tree that had fallen across a trail. Only thing harmed was my ego!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Protects the head We were on holiday at hilton head last week and took our bikes but left our seldom used helmets at home. It was so amazing with the bike paths that I decided to ride every day. However i felt a bit vulnerable with no helmet even though there were few others wearing them. My wife suggested just buying one at dicks. In store i found the giro fixture that was a great fit. I wore it all week and it did not feel hot or balky during the 200 miles i rode.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from comfortable helmet It's a good-fitting helmet. While I have an average-sized head, I have alot of long hair. It never snarls in the straps and the helmet doesn't wobble around. Nice and light-weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good helmet value. This helmet was purchased for my 8 year old son since he has outgrown children sizes. It fits him well and is comfortable. It also fits me well (Medium or large is what generally fits me), so it will last him for a few years. It has decent venting for the price and I like that it provides additional protection at the back of the head and at the temples.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits nicely, easy to use buckle. The color is nice and bright, neon green/yellow, so I’m easily seen on the roads. It fits snug and doesn’t slide back and forth. The buckle is easily tightened by just on strap!! So much easier than the double straps on the helmets that my boys use.
