So comfortable, it comes with a helmet liner which is nice if it’s cold. It was super cold so I wore a smartwool liner, it had enough room for another liner. Didn’t have to use the vents yet since it was super cold, so I can’t comment on that feature. The magnet clip is really nice, makes it much easier to buckle/unbuckle helmet with gloves on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is the 2nd one of these i have. the fit is better than other helmets i've used due to the excellent adjustability. i took a hefty fall earlier this season, and banged my head pretty good. the helmet saved my butt, and took the impact like a champ. other helmets i've used (and still have, anyone want a free helmet?), would have not performed as this one does. well worth the $$.

Great Helmet!

I love this helmet! I am a Ski Instructor in Aspen, Colorado and wear this helmet daily during the winter. It comfortably hugs my narrow long head and the magnetic clasp can easily be attached and released while wearing mittens or gloves. It also adjusts quickly to accommodate a balaclava. Every head is different but if it fits you will be stoked.

Fits Great Kept My Head Warm Too

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, I'm in the "This helmet fits great!" camp. I've read several reviews about bad fitment but I did not find that to be the case. The helmet has an expandable rib on either side of the helmet. When placing it on my head I squeezed the bottom ends/sides toward the base of my skull while tightening the adjustment dial on the back. At first it was a little too tight but in about five minutes or so it felt great and I never needed to adjust it again. I just skied five days straight in Aspen and the two days it snowed were pretty darn cold. The helmet kept my head both warm and dry and I never felt the need to take it off until lunch or the end of the day. I use Dragon goggles and there were no incompatibility issues at all.

Great Fit For A Lotto Different Head Shapes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always have trouble finding a well fitting helmet because I have a pretty oblong head. Usually I buy a size down and compact the foam to make it fit, which is certainly not ideal for safety. The fit system on the Range is pretty revolutionary; the fit is secure all around my head without any additional pads. Ventilation is decent, as good as other MIPS helmets I’ve tried. Plays well with my favorite Scott goggles. The ear pads have removable cut outs for headphones, or if you just want a little more breathability. TL,DR: if Smith and POC helmets make you feel like you’re wearing a pumpkin, give this a shot.
