SIZING:

    We recommend you try helmets on before buying. Make sure the helmet fits with a little room when the fit system is loose, and sits low enough to protect your child’s forehead without hindering vision. Once you’ve got the right size, you can adjust the fit.

Great Snow Sport Helmet

We do a lot of sledding and snow tubing as a family. Problem is the slope gets icy and fast real quick. I usually make the kids wear their skate helmets. Recently My husband started wear his hockey helmet i was just wearing my thick tosel cap and my parka hood drawn tight. I began to get worried i was going ro get a concussion after watching my husband wipe out and seeing his helmeted head make contact with the frozen snow. I found the giro and it is awesome.protects the ears and head and keeps me warm. I have wiped out once and it kept me safe

Better Than Bareheaded

My very first time skiing my husband convinced me that I didn't need a helmet. I 'd be on bunny or beginner slopes all day it was a waste of money so I agreed. it was icy, I got too fast I fell and slammed my head on the ground. It was a surreal experience walked away with a concussion. Worst week ever. So I went shopping for a helmet. I tried on several but went for the giro sestriere. It feels very good warm not hot. Comfortable not heavy. I have skied with it for 4 sessions now and love it. Always wear one now.

Comfortable And Great Price Point

Very comfortable and fits great with goggles. Would have gave it a 5 rating but my head got a bit cold. Would recommend wearing a hat underneath. Overall a great deal !

Excellent Fit

After trying several different brands and models of helmets, I found the one that fits me perfectly. The helmet is nice and snug and my goggles do not push down into my nose. This was a big selling point for me. Suggestion: take your goggles with you when checking out new helmets!

Good Fit

Fits good and keeps my ears warm. The helmet does not push goggles down onto my nose and the goggles strap also snaps on easily to the helmet.

Happy With Helmet

The helmet arrived in a timely matter. It's very similar to the Giro helmet my husband has so we bought this one for my 14-year-old son. It's comfortable and my son likes it. It has a snap to hold goggles on which works better than some helmets that have a clip rather than a snap. My son wishes it had an adjustable knob or some other feature to tighten it just a little around his head, but perhaps that's just because he's used to youth helmets that typically adjust. The chin strap is obviously adjustable and it's comfortable around the chin.
