[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this helmet for my 5-year-old (he has a slightly larger head than a typical 5-year-old) and it fits him great! He has plenty of room to grow. A great investment to protect his noggin!

Great Product But Wish It Was More Affordable For Everyone
The helmet is a bit steep price-wise but I wanted a helmet for my 7 y/o that had MIPS, a visor and good air ventilation. This was also on a list that I found to be one of the best for the young age group. I was willing to pay $70 to make sure its a good product that'll protect him should he wreck his bike but, it's a shame you have to pay so much for this necessity to keep your child safe. It's a nice blue color and he's able to get it buckled himself including the back adjuster knob. My son likes the helmet and has no complaints.

This Is Not Mips!!
I purchased this online and picked up in the store. It was not MIPS as advertised. The store employee was not familiar with the yellow/black MIPS circle that certifies it as such. Be careful when you buy!!

If You Bought Any Color Before Green It Was Non-mips
Dicks was selling the non-MIPS version branded as MIPS. You can find this out 3 ways, 1. There is no MIPS sticker on the helmet and you should see a yellow liner. 2 you'll see on the helmet box has a product year of 2017. 3 - Dicks pulled and discontinued the helmet. Nice...
