I bought this for my son. He a catcher and deals with teammates throwing upper 80s, lower 90s. This helps the reduce the swelling if he misses a pitch while framing it. Its not a fail safe but helps a little bit. You can lose a little feel though.

So Far So Good
It’s small but does the job. Wish a string was included as it shows in the picture. It’s holding up so far but it’s pretty delicate, to be determined how long it lasts

Small But Sturdy
Great little tool, but I’d recommend adding a leather lace or strap for your hand—the piece is small and easy to misplace. Aside from that, it’s handling my kid’s fast pitches like a champ… though I might be the one needing a pro-level catcher’s mitt soon!

Good Hand Pad For Catchers
Overall this works well. Ours did not come with the string that is shown in the picture to connect to the glove. That is not included. It seems sort of cheaply made but fine for the price.

A bit cumbersome and uncomfortable at first, but my player got used it. No more bruises on the hand where this Glovemate covers!
