Good Goal For The Price

Pretty good goal for the price, it does shake a little bit but not too bad.

No Not Buy This If You Need To Have It Shipped

If you can purchase and pick up this item in store, go for it. but if you will need to have it shipped DO NOT BUY IT. I purchased this 3 weeks ago and still do not have the hoop. I am on the phone DAILY with the shipping company and the subleased shipping company who will make the final delivery. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing and there have been lies and excuses the entire time. I do not expect to ever receive my item and am calling Dicks for a refund. It has been a stressful NIGHTMARE. If you need to have this item shipped, RUN away from this website as fast as you can and purchase a hoop somewhere else.

I was surprised upon its arrival to learn that the pole is two pieces. It was a challenge to get the two pieces together. The backboard shakes everytime you hit the backboard with the basketball.

Nice In Ground Hoop For The Sale Price

Bought for $599, looks nice and is very sturdy. Installation is as expected, have to dig a decent hole and cement pole in but it is sturdy with little movement with shooting. My wife helped install the backboard system once I let the cement cure for a week. Adjustment of height work well also.

We bought this 3 weeks ago, so far, we love it! It's very windy at our house. Our old hoop was on a base and moved a lot, so we went with this inground hoop this time and have no regrets. The kids spend hours playing. We love it!!!!

Won’t Find A Better Inground At This Price Point

It’s exactly what you’re after. If you’re not going to go all the way and spend the big money for a pro style, this is absolutely perfect. Bill Smith at the fair oaks mall location will absolutely set you up and give you the confidence necessary walking through installation. Phenomenal. This hoop looks the part, walks the part and for a fraction of the price. Go Big or go with this one.

Awesome Goal

This was an easy set up for an awesome goal. It’s great because you can adjust it for whatever age.

Backboard Shattered

The hoop has foam pads to protect the bottom edges. The instructions want you to drill pilot holes into the metal frame (which is unsafe and a poor design) and attach the pads. When I started drilling the pilot holes, the backboard shattered. Very unsafe and extremely disappointed. Customer service (not Dicks, but Escalade Sports) said I could buy an entirely new hoop for more than I paid for the original. In retrospect, I should have just glued the pads on. The pilot holes should already be pre-drilled. Extremely disappointed.

Great Basketball Goal

This is a great goal! My 11 year old loves it! It arrived very fast, but the issue was that all the parts we needed weren't there and my husband called and Escalade Sports said they would get it out immediately. Due to weather, we didn't get it until 2 weeks later. The problem was they didn't communicate the delay to us. My husband finally called and got the answer as to why and we understood. Better communication would have made it better.

Difficult To Install Horrible Post Construction

Installation was horrible. Self tapping screws are anything but. The backboard wiggles when the ball hits the rim. would not recommend especially for the price.
