Service

Buyer beware; the installation company they use is so backed up they won't be able to install my basketball goal until a month after purchase. Not sure why Dick's doesn't use multiple installers for that reason. Who wants to wait a month after a 1600-dollar purchase to be able to enjoy the item. I will review the basketball goal if it ever gets installed.

Nice In Ground Unit

I purchased the 60 inch backboard. One of the biggest selling points to me is that this is not require as big and deep of a hole with concrete as it’s big brother. Overall, the system as well constructed and relatively easy to assemble. Just be sure to follow the concrete pad instructions very closely.

Easy Installation

We decided to install this goal ourselves and it was straightforward. Most challenging part was digging the hole and pour concrete. We rented a concrete mixer from Home Depot which is highly recommended.

Great Investment. 6 Years Later.

Just played a great pickup have with family on this hoop 6 years after buying it. It looks and functions the same as day 1. Solid. Easily adjustable. So fun to play on. So worth the extra money and time to install. Very happy we invested in this hoop!

Looks Like A Good Hoop

Full disclosure: I have not yet installed this, I am only writing a review to get bonus points. I bought this for my son for Christmas in November as there was a good Black Friday deal. I am looking forward to installing it once it gets a little warmer here in the northeast. It looks like it will be a decent hoop. I see some reviews about wobbling. I am wondering if using extra concrete may help, or adding additional support bars to the backboard. we'll see how it is. Enjoy!

Nice Goal At A Good Price

We are really happy with this goal so far. Can't speak on durability as we just installed it but it seems very sturdy. Digging the hole and setting the concrete was not easy and when attaching the backboard you need every bit of 4-5 people simply to help secure it. Instructions are easy to follow!

Not Bad For The Price

Bought this on Black Friday for almost half off. I would be a little disappointed if I paid full price. Backboard is pretty stiff and is well built, only thing I don’t particularly like is the multi piece main pole. Even with the recommended concrete , there is still some wobble. Not bad but why I can only give 4 stars. Not l too bad to put together. I did it myself A and raised myself, would not recommend. Pretty heavy. Padding is also nothing amazing.
