My 9 year old uses this every night. It's bright and helps her see at night when practicing. Love it!!

We bought and installed this a couple weeks ago. Initially thought I was buying a solar light but we decided to keep it anyway. The cord isn't super long if you are far from an outlet but it gives off great light. The hardest part is swinging the light pole up in the lock position once you assemble everything. I would recommend having a few people on hand and a couple ladders.

So far so good. It was extremely easy to assemble and erect. We bought for our son's Christmas 2025 and have only used it twice.

Kids are able to play after dark and it’s been great

I bought this about a month ago and I've been very satisfied with it thus far. The amount of light that it puts out is more than adequate and my kids love being able to shoot hoops in the evening. Definitely comes in handy in the winter months when it gets dark at 4:30. It would be great if it was solar powered, so I wouldn't have to run an extension cord to power it, but it is what it is. The assembly was very straightforward and relatively easy until the final few steps. After securing the light to the pole the step where you have to swing the light into the upright position is pretty challenging. I had my 12-year old son (5' 5") hold it up but he wasn't tall enough to get it to a height that would help me grab it from the ladder so I had to have him stand on the ladder and hold it while I (6' 2") walked it into the upright position. Once in the upright position securing the final bolt (bottom one) was very challenging. When you push the bolt through the thread it doesn't line up so after trying for 15-20 minutes ultimately I had to loosen the top bolt a good bit. After doing that I was able to reposition the bottom one by just a centimeter or two so I could slide it through and secure it.

I found the final step of inserting the last bolt to be extremely difficult as the hole didn’t line up.

Great addition to any hoop. Excellent light for night time hoops. Doesn’t get in the way at all and was a fairly simple install. Definitely extends the hours you can use your hoop, especially in fall/winter.

We bought this light on 8/11/22 and we just loved it. But we went to turn the light on tonight and it barely illuminates. Disappointed that after 10 months, it either stopped working or needs new bulbs already. Not sure what to do now.

This light is great. Very bright and lights up the whole court and basket. You definitely need two people to raise it to the upright position.

Great and easy to install. But one light went out after just 2 weeks of minimal use. Easy fix, but I gotta pack the whole thing back to get another. Not fun.

We installed this Hoop Light on our Goaliath hoop and it's been so nice to keep playing even after the sun goes down. This light fully covers the area of our 3-car garage/driveway. Installation was easy and only took a few minutes for 2 adults. What sold us was the LED bulbs so we don't have to worry about replacing them for a very long time.
