Looks And Feels Amazing!

I love the backboard padding because it’s saved our hands from getting bruised! We play on a lower rim and our fingers would always hit the corners and hurt pretty bad. But now with the padding, it’s saved our hands and also looks amazing!

The padding is of good material however the metal strip inside the padding could have been atleast galvanized. The strip inside my padding became rusted and corroded in just a few years.

Horrible Design And Expensive Replacement

We are only 3 years in and one of the screw holes on the plastic ripped thru leaving it hanging. Tried removing the screws and one completely broke leaving half a screw in there. I had to go buy a locking plier and lubricant to remove the remaining part of the screw, it was a nightmare. The padding is not water resistant at all, the insides are pretty much rotted. Don’t understand why they would use such cheap screws for this when everything else used much better non rusting screws and bolts. Good luck finding matching screws at the local hardware screws. Closest I found was size 10 stainless steel in similar length. Seeing the price of replacement padding and I’m floored how expensive. Very disappointed in this poor design and extremely expensive replacements after only a few years.

The hoop box was missing the anchor system because a store employee ripped it out and used it on a different purchase. So, they sent me 20 miles away to another store to yank it from their next victim's box. Also, I was shipped a dartboard instead of a backboard pad. Lastly, they didn't honor the special financing because the store employee rung up the purchase in two transactions. Apart from that, the product is very nice.

Just installed last week (mid-July 2023) Needed to get a steel drill bit and had to use a power drill with Phillips head in order to drill through the steel and screw. Did take about an hour to install 6 screws.
