Good for increasing balance by standing. Builds stronger legs.

I use this at work. I don’t use a standard office chair, I use a stool on wheels. This helps me build my core strength by sitting it on the seat.

There is only one thing I don't care for and that is strictly on me. I have sensitive feet and the little knobs on the top are a bit uncomfortable - so I wear socks and that helps. This stability disk is definitely superior to others I have tried. Upon arrival it will need a little more inflation, so don't forget to order an inflation device if you don't have one.

This is similar to an item I used in physical therapy to regain flexibility in my foot. I bought it to use at home - it's very helpful.

Good price. I'm 212 and it holds the pressure. Grand kids like to play with it.

This disk came nicely packaged, and filled partially with air. It does NOT come with a pump to fill it up if one needs it to be a little fuller; however, a simple bike pump works. I filled it a little more because I bought it to sit on at my computer, so I sit up straighter. I have only used it one day, but do far it is very comfortable and supports my core well.

I purchased two of these to continue my physical therapy at home. They say you can inflate with a bicycle pump, but it was extremely hard. You would be better to do it with an air compressor.

This purchase was for my mom, who tried mine while visiting. I've had mine - same brand - for 4+ years. This disk does what I wanted. The size is fine for my under 5'5" frame, The plastic is thick and even pets trampling it for years hasn't harmed it. I haven't felt the need to add air to it.I use it almost daily to keep my ankles and an ACL-less knee in top shape. It's propped next to my office desk, and while reading email or watching TV, I stand up and do one-legged balancing for a minute each side, 5-10 times. Most times I keep my knees slightly bent, but sometimes I lock the knee, and concentrate on strengthening the ankle. The desk is right there if I wobble.I haven't used it for any other exercises, but I notice my knees/ankles don't like it when I go without it for longer than 4-5 days.

I purchased this core disk based on its durability and feel. Several co-workers had started sitting on core disks to help improve the strength of their core muscles so I was able to try several different brands. I found the GoFit Core Disk to be the best suited for me. It seemed to provide just a little more challenge than some of the others to remain balanced. I also use mine to stand on and it is strong and maintains its inflation level over time. The GoFit Core Disk is easy to inflate to the correct firmness with only one or two pumps with a bicylce pump. The price was less than in a local sporting good store but slightly more than other brands. I would recommend to friends and co-workers.

Good AB workout while using. I am using it to lift a light set of weights (curls.) Based on muscle soreness (lower rib cage), it is causing work in an area that had not been seeing much use. My wife uses it to work on her balance. Instruction guide included gives several suggestions for workouts/use, which is helpful.

This stability disk is of very high quality. The Go Fit company that makes this product has the highest customer service. It is really refreshing to come across such a quality product and USA company.

I use the core disk for my in-home therapy program for my achilles tendon. I had used a similar device when I was in physical therapy. It is a great help to create better range of motion as well as strengthen my calf and ankle. It's sufficiently challenging.

I love this product! I bought it to use while doing arm exercises. I stand on it and do curls and other toning moves. It makes your core work so you get a double bang for your buck. I also sit on it and do ab exercises at times. I didn't really use the DVD, but I'm sure it has some helpful tips.

I bought this to help me exercise my hips and to help me sit more comfortably. I recently had a hip replacement and I need to do a lot of balancing exercises to strengthen the new hip. When I sit it helps to have my hip above my knee, especially in my car with the low bucket type of seats. This cushion fits well in all kinds of car seats.I would definitely buy this again!

I received my GoFit Core Disk about 2 weeks ago and so far, I really like it. I also use a physio-ball for most of my ab work, but was looking for something new to try. This item fits the bill. I use it for lunges, balancing on two feet, one foot, sit-ups, etc. I like the fact that it came with an instructional DVD (Not a fitness routine, just exercise options). The disk arrived inflated slightly, but I felt it needed a little more air. It comes with an inflation pin (taped to the packaging) and you have to have a bike pump to add more air. I've also been using the fit disk to sit on while I work on my computer (I'm sitting on it now) and it has really improved my sitting posture and makes working on the computer not such a sluggish activity. My only complaint and reason that I am not giving it 5 stars is I wish that some instructional guide (not a DVD) had been included. I like to watch trashy TV while I workout, so I can't do that and watch the instructional DVD at the same time. A chart or booklet of different exercises would have been perfect for me so that I could refer to it as I was using the disk. Also, some instruction as to the amount that the disk should be inflated to would have been helpful too. Just recommendations about disk inflation for certain levels, exercises, uses. etc..
