ankle weights
These weights are titled "5 lb adjustable ankle weights" . While there were two weights in the box (one for each leg), each was only 2.5 lbs TOTALLING 5 lbs. The description was not clear. I now have to return them and purchase the "10 lb ankle weights" to actually receive two 5 lbs weights. The quality is good though! Comfortable and easy to change the weights by slipping out a rod or two.

I really like them and they help with my physical therapy as I recently had a total knee replacement. If you have small ankles though you may have to wear them over a pair of leggins or sweat pants. They work as they were intended.

I'm glad I bought this padded 10-pound set instead of the cheaper set GoFit offers, and so far, they're heavy enough. I definitely don't regret my purchase. Problem is, where do I find heavier inserts to replace these half-pound ones currently in it once I can move up in weight? I've tried those straps to attach a dumbbell to my ankle, and it wasn't very comfy. Could anyone point me at some replacement inserts?

I should have gotten the 5 lb x2 set, but regardless, they add plenty of resistance to any workout and are comfortable enough to wear throughout the day. I like that you can easily remove the weights to adjust to the perfect amount of resistance. I also REALLY like that the weights are metal as opposed to sand filled ankle weights which have a tendency to leak over time.

Received and box says 2.5 weights. Misleading. I read description to make sure before I ordered. Wanted 5lb weights. Annoyed. Now have to take back.

Comfortable, easy to take on and off, no sliding around on my ankles. I love the adjustable weight as it gives me the opportunity to increase slowly as I build more strength. Good product!
My wife just had knee replacement surgery and these were the ankle weights recommended by the physical therapist. She took most of the weight out to begin with and then slowly added weight back as her legs got stronger. She is very happy with these weights.

I was worried about it being big enough, but it fits great around my leg, fully adjustable even for my daughter to use & easy to use.

I have large calves (I used to play football), so finding things like ankle weights that fit properly is usually a challenge. The straps on these are more than large enough to have plenty of velcro sticking and hold them in place. The padding makes them very comfortable to wear, even for long periods of time...but they do get a little sweaty sometimes.I highly recommend these ankle weights, especially for others like me who have larger legs and calves.

I am a senior citizen and not to bendable. plus I have tender skin so more padding in side would be appreciated by me. The quality of your product is great just needs a little padding to make it great!

I purchased these for my 90 year old mother. They are perfect. They fit comfortably around her ankles and I love that you can add or subtract weights in 1/2 pound increments, depending on the exercise.I did not think the description of this item was clear. I recall being a bit confused. Each ankle strap holds 10 1/2 pound weights, making each ankle strap anywhere from .5 to 5 pounds.

I am very happy with my purchase. These ankle weights fit nice and tight and are more compact than the sand filled alternatives. These things will definitely enhance my core work. Thanks for a solid product.

These were just what my physical therapist said to get & they are doing the job for which they were purchased; bringing strength back to a weak leg.
