I’ll never go back to those thin ones... The comfort of this mat encourages better, stronger workouts! And is a bargain compared to others! Even if delivery is a little longer, it’s SO worth it! Stay safe. Be well.

I love this mat and use it instead of my yoga mat because it is very comfortable.

I had this for a while. What's there to say about an exercise mat? I mean its an exercise mat! Its nice and soft, comfortable especially for elbows and knees under pressure. Rolls up neatly to be put away. Wipes off easily after your workout! Durable. Little pieces will flake out though if it is ill treated

If, like me, you have a prominent coccyx (tailbone) and bruise a lot there when doing crunches, pilates, or yoga, this is the most comfortable mat I've found. It does make for slightly less stability when doing anything that requires standing on a single foot (I just step off the mat for those) but I find the trade off more than worth it. I have had no durability issues, and it is going on 2 years old now. I do alternate the direction in which I roll it to prevent creasing, though that may be unnecessary on my part. Overall a great mat for comfort, and if I wear mine out, I plan to buy the same one again.

Got this to help fight my hardwood floors and not being able to do a few moves without hurting my spine. Thick mat and perfect for anyone practicing pilates. The thin normal yoga mat was just not cutting it and it took me a while to find one like I use in class. This is perfect!

I like it, for the price it is what it's advertised as. A yoga/pilates mat which fits me from head to toe (i'm 5'8). It is thicker than most yoga mats which i appreciate. It does slip as i'm doing some more strenuous exercises, like side planks for example, but not enough to bother me.

I had searched for a while for a pilates mat that was thicker and more supportive than the very thin mats that seem standard. After evaluating the very few that are at least a half an inch thick, this mat was my choice to diffuse the pain I always experience during any kind of floor work (I experience a lot of pressure on my lower back.) I was a little worried that, being such a large mat, it wouldn't roll up very small or would just look monstrous on the floor next to others' tiny yoga mats. But for as thick as it is this mat rolls up surprisingly well and can still be tucked under your arm. And it is really luxurious to do pilates on. It reduces the impact on my back and feels really nice under my bare feet when doing standing poses. I actually think it takes stress off the knees, because the thick mat helps absorb shock if you are using it for high impact exercises. It's no hard-core yoga mat, as some have said, but it stayed put pretty well when doing some cardio style, kicking moves. I also never thought it would be so worth it to have a LONG mat, but I'm 5'10 and now I can't go back. When others were hanging off the edges of their non-mats, I could comfortably lay my head on one end and not worry about my long legs extending off my mat and hitting someone in the face :)

I just received this mat. NO ODOR at all!Yes, it was in a roll during shipping, so of course the ends turned up a bit. I TURNED IT OVER on my hardwood floors and that was the end of that problem. It doesn't slip. Not on the floor. Not under my feet. No matter which side is facing down. It's thick, THICK, soft but sturdy. My body doesn't feel any pain, no matter what part of it is touching the floor!

I bought this mat, thinking I could use it interchangeably for yoga and Pilates. It feels great doing Pilates, as it is very cushioned and floats above my hardwood floors, but it may be a bit too thick and plushy for yoga. I've found that it is very difficult to balance on the mat on one foot during yoga balancing poses; however, it feels good on the hands, and it's thickness prevents one's hands from slipping. It squeaks a lot, and does shift and slide backwards while doing "Rolling Like a Ball" Pilates movements. However, overall it is a suitable mat for most Pilates movements, as it protects the joints very well. It was my own fault, thinking this mat could be used as effectively for yoga, and I have since also purchased a mat specifically made for yoga workouts. My dog really likes how soft this mat is, and will often join me during my Pilates routines just to provide me company, unless I shoo him away constantly!

Good bye old purple yoga mat, hello blue heaven! GoFit's Pilates Mat is exceptional, and the price for such comfort.....absolutely reasonable - underpriced if anything! I have bought a couple of mats searching for enough cushioning to use on hardwood floors & only got bruises. If you have hardwood floors or any hard surface - you must get this mat, if I could give more stars I would =)The curling issue, not a biggie. Keep the box it comes rolled up in, and reverse roll it. After each use, roll up opposite of last roll and place it back in box.I LOVE THIS, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

I just bought this mat a couple weeks ago because my new gym doesn't have any pilates mats. Most people in my class (about 25 ppl) have yoga mats or mats that are marketed as pilates mats but are really too thin. Last night in class, my teacher used my mat as an example of what people should buy if they are just going to take only pilates, and not yoga as well. I never have to add any additional support mats, as the other people in class do, and it's nice that it's so long because I don't have to worry about touching the dirty floor. I am a beginner/intermediate, and I like using it. I only wish it came with a strap or something to help transport it back and forth better!

I thought the concept of "yoga in bed" was a little silly until I got this mat: my sessions come pretty darn close with it, and I get even more out of my workouts. I use this mat mainly for pilates, but have learned to stabilize on its thicker foundation with all of the yoga poses I do often (including all of the warriors and even balancing poses like half moon). The best thing about this mat though, is how it really opens up my yoga/pilates practice by giving me the extra cushioning I need to do things that were literally too hard on my body with a standard yoga/pilates mat (e.g. truely using my abs, rather than guttering over on my perifery, in "rolling like a ball"). So if I can set aside a minor uncertainty about being able clean it effectively--with all its little wrinkles, and maybe even pores--it's no doubt my favorite.
