Nice Rod

I was in the store looking at fishing rods picking up each one in the range I wanted and picked up this Googan and instantly thought “hey, this feels nice”. I put it back on the shelf, tried a few more and went back to the Googan. “Yeah, this one feels good”. Tried a few more but I always kept going back to the Googan do I bought it. On the water, this thing is great. It’s very sensitive and I can feel the smallest of bites, it’s got great hook setting power and a great backbone for reeling in the fish of any size. I love this rod so much I had to buy more. I now have 2 green series and 2 gold series. I highly recommend these rods.

Good Rod At Great Sale Price

I think Googan rods are a little high priced for what you get but sale price was great. I have another one that has held up good so picked this one up. Paired with a 13 fishing reel. Excellent Rod For The Price

recently my bass spinning rod broke and was looking for a replacement. I'm usually a St. Croix, Lews, or Ugly stick kind of guy but heard about the googan rods being senmsitive and being good quality as well as super light. came right to dicks and picked up my replacement only to be wowed with how sensitive it was. didn't feel even the slightest amount of fatigue after prolonged periods of fishing. and even the small features like the built in measurement system are just nice little features you have so you don have to modify your rod with tape or anything fancy. the only thing I can complain about is the hook keeper not being big enough but that is a simple fix. If you are looking for a good solid finesse rod for bass fishing, this isn't a bad option.
