It is current 1 F with an -18 F windchill. I needed to clear a couple of inches of snow from a driveway. These gloves kept my hands and FINGERS warm the 45 minutes I was outside. That’s remarkable because my fingers always get painfully cold in such temps. The smart design of keeping the index finger free while wrapping the other 3 fingers in a mitten like pocket is brilliant! The gloves also feature a zipper pocket on the back of each hand, a wristband so the gloves can dangle if you need to take them off to pull something out of a pocket, take a photo, etc. Of course, they also feature a clip to keep them together when storing them. I was so impressed with them that I went out and got my partner a pair today as well. The price point is reasonable too - especially for a Gortex product.
