Geopress

I needed a new water filter for my backpacking trips. Came recommended by friends who own them. I can take it anywhere hiking travel or use it every day. Great product.

Does The Job

It should be known the it takes a certain amount of upper body strength to separate the two sections and press them back together again. It is not a children's toy. Women, in particular, might find it difficult to use. Otherwise, I am pleased to have a source of truly good water in NYC and use it to fill the refrigerator water container that holds the equivalent of five 24-ounce GeoPresses.

Very Difficult To Press/filter

The 24oz bottle is actually very difficult to press all the way down when you're trying to filter. You need a lot of strength to push all the way down to the bottom while resisting all that pressure.

Does What It Should

Works well, have used it on a couple different water sources, and tasted fine. Only problem I had was the spout had a burr on it, ( extra piece of plastic) I had to cut then file off, wasn’t sharp just uncomfortable feel when drinking. Will buy another Grayl for my other pack soon
