Poor Sediment Filter
It definitely does not filter out chlorine from a municipal water source! I tested the water before and after filtering with litmus paper. Still had a high level of chlorine. So I was curious and just put a little dirt in a bucket of water and tried pressing it. Definitely not as clear as the videos! If you notice, they are 99% getting clear water, from a clear stream…. If it doesn’t filter sediment that well, I’m sure it’s not gonna filter out bacteria, protozoan, and viruses! I work overseas and I’m not depending on this thing to keep me healthy!! Who tested this??? Lol

Great Bottle!
We just used these bottles in Tajikistan on a 5 day trek through the Fann mountains. We loved how quick and easy they were to use! Highly recommend.

When Clean Drinking Water Is Needed Now.
Our Grayl system has become our go to water purification system for individual and small group planning on our trips. I like being able to use just about any water source without hesitation to produce drinking water. We recently had a person fall out from heat exhaustion and we were able to setup a water team to keep producing clean water from the bitter, sulfur flavored well water that was available. Being able to make clean tasting water was important, got the person to keep drinking water and electrolyte mixes. The Grayl is our 'make water and pour into other containers' system (so no food contaminates in it). The Grayl was quick enough to train a new person on and get them pumping out the clean water which let our first responder stay on scene with our person in distress. Individual's recovery was successful.
