    Great Stove, But Carry Matches

Overall, the 540+ cooks food nicely. Open the valve all the way and water boils very quickly. back it off significantly and you can grill sandwiches. If you're coming from a stove that used white gas (eg older Coleman), it cooks so much differently- in a good way. The only issue I've had is the right piezo igniter won't light the burner 90% of the time. It's annoying to have to use a match (or a stick lit off the left burner) to have both burners lit. It would be nice if there were some trouble shooting tips to address this. After using it for six months, that's my only complaint. As others have noted, the overall construction feels lightweight - use of thin metal and some questionable riveting on the lid hinges, plastic lid clasp, etc that could affect overall longevity - I mean it's a car camping stove, so reducing weight shouldn't be done at a sacrifice to durability.

    Replacement Unit Is Working Great

(updated) it took a while for support to get back to me, but the first stove they sent which had manufacturing defects was replaced. The good unit is functioning perfectly, and the regulators hold their settings really well. I purchased this stove to replace my 10yr-old Camp Chef which the regulators were starting to drift. I don't always want to cook with the burners at full blast (pancakes) and this stove does well. Even at low flame settings and a strong breeze the burners stayed lit. Full flame boils water in a reasonable amount of time. I like how close the grate is to the burners, the heat goes right into the pot or pan. I dropped one star since I would like the adapter for the fuel tank to be clipped n place rather than loose when stored, and the plastic lid clasp seems questionable.

Can't Ignite Itself! Can Only Be Used With A Lighter. No Qc!

Ignition Issue: Despite following the instructions, the stove (both left/right sides) fails to ignite (but it can be ignited by a lighter, so gas is fine). Additionally, there is a discrepancy in the iron sheet near the ignition tip; the left one appears different from the right one, which may be contributing to the problem. Seems like there is no QC of the stove

    Nice Little Camp Stove

I was looking for a new stove and happily found this on sale. It is well made and nicely laid out. Will come in handy on camping or fishing trips.

    Best Outdoor Camp Stove

Glad I bought this for half price. My coleman needed a replacement. I would definitely pay full price now I've used it
