Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strudy & Stylish Bought for my grandson; he loves it. He's seven and very tall, so with a simple seat adjustment the bike is a custom fit. He wanted a BMX but in my opinion not ready for a exclusive front/rear hand brake system; this bike has a single handbrake but the coaster braking system gives him confidence. So, when riding with older children with BMX bikes he is in step with his crew. Did a lot of research and did not know much about the GT Kid's Berm BMX Bike; but learned Berm BMX Bikes have been around for a while with an acceptable consumer history. Although I have bought a couple of bikes each for his brother and sister in the past they are a bit envious. I sense by the look in their eyes the hope of my gifting them Berm BMX Bikes too someday.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what my son nedded My son is almost 6 and he's already had bicycles and knows how to ride but I still wanted to get him a coaster brake to play it safe. so this is his first real BMX bike GT has always been a top BMX brand so even though this is a dicks special I'm still very satisfied with this bike. I looked around on craigslist but with a 20% off coupon I had this was the best deal I could find for a legit BMX kids bike The associate at the bike and wonder if the dicks store was very helpful he tightened up the brakes The associate at the bike and wonder if the dicks store was very helpful he tightened up the brake put air in the tires oil the chain get the seat to the proper level. My son is just a little bit wobbly coming up from the 16 inch to this 18 inch so I'm confident I can probably get two years out of this bite. Even though they classify this bike is a 20 inch tire size the frame is actually 18 inch Do your kid a favor and spend the extra 40 bucks on actual BMX bike and not a discount storecheap heavy flimsy bike

I was pleased that it was put together very well. No adjustments needed other than to raise the seat for my daughter. It's light and stable and my daughter loves it.
