Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was sold the moment I saw this Bike! This is a very solid entry level Mountain Bike that you can upgrade to the capacity you desire. After several months, I wanted more stopping power, so I swapped the mechanical Promax brakes with Shimano hydraulic brakes and 180mm rotors, front and rear. Suntour SR offers a front suspension upgrade program and switched from the coil XCM forks to the Raidon Air forks. Last but not least, I added a KS Dropper seat post, what a difference that made when descending down rough terrain! I now have everything I want in a Mountain Bike and even with these upgrades, I've spent many hundreds of dollars less than other brands!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect set up for my budget. Bought this last week after doing a little research on current mtn bike tech. As soon as I could I took it down some steep roughly rooted downhills it was super stable hooked right up everywhere on everything. I could never lean a bike over quite like this one with the contact patch being massive. Only drawback is the seat had to chop it immediately to have it at my preferred position and I don't could have been made much stiffer I am very bruised just from a few climbs. Incredible bike. Terrible seat is all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Bike for the price!! Just took the bike out for its first ride and all doubts that I had prior to purchasing it are gone. I will admit that the components, mainly the brakes, aren't the greatest but for what I paid i wasn't totally surprised. WIth a couple low cost upgrades i think this bike will be an awesome performer. The bike rides great, it handles very well and the tires grip like crazy. With the zerostack headset future fork upgrades are definitely an option. The frame even has routing for a dropper seatpost if you decide you want that. I haven't seen a better deal on a 27.5+ bike yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Bike Bought this bike today, being a bike mechanic, the adjustment of derailleurs and setup process was a breeze. This bike rides and shifts great, I also went into the the lower end Suntour XCM front fork with the tool designed to removed the top caps, installed a urethane skateboard truck bushing on each side once the caps were off and reinstalled. This allows the suspension to be firmer and not bottom out, in effect compensating for the softer springs while not limiting the range of motion. Overall a great bike and should be fun on the trail.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bike!!! I got this bike on fathers day and I must say for the price of the bike it has been a terrific purchase. I own a 26" SS & 29er, and I have been riding for many years. I must say this Ricochet rides and handles great. The bike climbs well and is fast on descents. I have changed the seat to a WTB volt and changed the stem to 100mm and I will upgrade to a few other parts but I certainly recommend this bike if you enjoy or would like to start riding mountain bikes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Bike Can handle the rough terrain and jumps Bike has been rode hard and those big tires hook up great on dirt and rocks. I have hit some jumps, hopped some trees, and clear some ditches does it all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great entry level bike I just got it and what made the difference was the triple clamp head was reinforced better the other models and the larger tires. Weight is over 200 lbs myself so larger tires makes a huge difference. after couple times out was impressed as it handled very well and was easy to turn. Everything works smooth. I did have to tighten a few bolts but that is to expected. The staff was helpful and not pushy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid for general mountain biking I purchased locally. Top notch frame, mechanical brakes, front suspension is decent not too bouncy 100MM travel and for what I do its just fine for now. Great frame gives the options of upgrading to better front anyway. Everything is functional and the 2-9 setup up is nice. No shifting issues although being a mechanic it would not matter. Overall its a very nice bike and the 27.5+ really makes for a nice off road experience. Even did some gnarly stuff and it was smooth and very easy to handle. breaks are nice, simple and silent. Bike rides as good as it looks. Keep in mind its not a trail bike its an entry level XC.
