Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rock solid Being 230lbs and having read multiple blogs about only buying super high end bikes I was hesitant but eventually bought this bike because the price was right. I have rode this bike hard and fast on single track to slick rock and it keeps on riding like new. I am proud to be riding this bike and personally have to think just how many people are suckered into buying more expensive bikes, or worse those who put off riding because they think they have to spend a fortune to get out on the trails like I use to think. I'm sure I will upgrade someday, but for now I am having the time of my life. I love the looks and feel of this bike.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great bike! POOR BIKE TECHS! Love the bike it fit in my budget and all kinds of options for up grades solid bike so far. That being said i bought the 2 year warranty that came with free tune up once a year. Pretty much gave them $60 cause i will not take it back there i had to go through and tighten just about every bolt the rear derailleur bracket was bent both derailleurs were out of adjustment the lever for the seat post clamp was missing had to go back and get one they just took it from another bike. If you buy a bike from here take it straight to a local bike shop and have them look over it i personly will not buy anothe bike from This place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Bike I was looking to replace my 26" bike that was stolen and I got the right one. The 29" is more like a road bike and too big to fit in a car but the 27.5" is the perfect size. It comes with Hydro disc brakes and easy to remove the front wheel. Parts are mostly Shimanos and the frame is aluminum. It's look seem more expensive than bikes that cost over a thousand dollars. It's a fast mountain bike. Make sure to adjust the seat post height and the length, and also the handle bar.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good bike but Dick's website is misleading about components I just picked up the GT Richochet bike expecting to have the bike equipped with tektro hydraulic brakes as the web site specifies. But the bike actually is outfitted with promax hydraulic brakes-which are cheaper and inferior in quality. This was quite disappointing. Otherwise bike is good and service was good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a deal. I just got one of these bikes for around 200$ at Dicks which to me was an ABSOLUTE steal. You can barely even find deals like this on craigslist! Haven't even assembled it yet but I already know it's going to perform amazing. I currently own a Nishiki Colorado 29er which I paid more for, has cheaper components, & stays in very good shape as I ride pretty aggressive through the trails. The GT has hydro brakes, wider bars, better crank it looks like, stronger 27.5 wheels, 3x9 gear ratio, you get the point haha can't wait to build this thing and get on the trails. Im 170lb 6' and got a 21.5" frame which might be a mistake...but the 20" frame on the Nishiki feels a tiny bit too small so I hope it fits well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Beginner Mountain Bike I bought this bike because of the price point. It is a great bike for the price. I have pushed this bike way further than I should taking it on downhill trails and having two big crashes on it but it still rides like new. This bike is very stiff however, the frame has very little flex in it and some might find it uncomfortable. as I become more experienced I plan on upgrading, but for my first real mountain bike I couldn't ask for much more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good cross country mountain bike. Bike has good components and is ideal for cross country tracks. Dicks was able to ship to store and assemble there to save me on shipping costs.
