Rated 3 out of 5 by from Would not buy again I've had this bike for 1 year now. I had problems with gear shifting from the beginning, the chains come off regularly especially when you go uphill and put a little strain on it. The brakes squeak. The only good thing I can find is that it does ride good on singletrack Terrain because of the fat tires and it does all in all maneuver relatively good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bike!!! I own the men’s Laguna Pro, I bought my wife the women’s version online, easy build (30 minutes) she loves it, she’s ridden it a dozen or so times no issues, GREAT BIKE FOR THE PRICE

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice bike Wasn’t shopping for a bike but couldn’t turn down the ridiculous deal on this bike. Rides nice and shifts well. Typical uncomfortable seat that I’ve already replaced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value for the $$$ I bought this bike for my girlfriend 2 weeks ago on sale for 50% ($299) and we are both pleased so far . I went for the sky blue color which she loves .Getting a trusted brand name Like GT for that price is unheard of. I have a cannondale Trail2 which I bought on sale for $1000 more than that , and even though the Cannondale does have some better components, the 2 bikes are still relatively comparable. Im sure some of you are not sure which size to get .My girlfriend is 5'6" which is right between the 15" and 17" sizing. 15" is a small and 17" is a medium . I purchased the 17 as just a roll of the dice and the bike fits fine , I'm sure the 15 would have worked just as well . I ordered it online and had to assemble it . Dont get intimidated by that , the bike is nearly assembled, all you have to do is put on the seat , handle bars, pedals, forks and front wheel and run the front brake cable through the brake caliper. after that just make sure the cables are neatly placed along the frame . I had to adjust the brakes because they were rubbing a bit , but it's very simple and there are plenty of YouTube tutorials to help you out . Two sizes of Allen keys , a Phillips screwdriver and wrench just to tighten the pedals is all you need . Dont think you're saving money if you buy a cheap department store bike, you'll pay somehow. If this bike is just 100 bucks over your budget , my advice is to just go for it because the value for the dollar is definitely right here in this GT Laguna and mens Aggressor. A bike with the same components could easily run between $600 - $800 at a local bike shop . Neither of us has ridden it yet , but from the solid build quality and components I dont expect to be disappointed. Great deal , go for it !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value Bought this for my girlfriend a couple of weeks ago. I am no expert, but it seems like a lot of bike for the money (about $300 on sale). Although we have only taken it out once since I bought it, it seems like a great purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome Starter bike I've been riding this around for about two months. Shifting gears gets to be an annoyance, especially for the front wheel. You really have to push in "correctly" to get it to shift smoothly, which I haven't been able to get down yet. While riding, it's very awkward. It comes with easily detachable wheels, but the components seem a little cheap considering how important having wheels are. One of my springs have been deformed and I can only hope that it doesn't effect my ride. Bike is sturdy and when the gears work, they work great. My store didn't offer much for accessories so most of it was bought offsite and my lights had to be exchanged within the first week. No kickstand, but if you're locking your bike up often anyway it doesn't matter much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kid again! I feel like a kid again after buying this bike. The last time I purchased a bike, I was in my 20s, lived in Germany, and crashed it on my way home from the store after running into a 90-degree curb. (No harm to the bike, but it was embarrassing.) . That bike was garbage, costing around $70, made for a man (not a fan of that bar as a short woman), and not of a high quality. This one is a mountain bike I can love. I am 5'2" tall, so the 15" frame was a good fit. I had considered the purple Schwinn GTX, which I believe had the most comfortable seat but a more narrow tire (although the widest tire of the three colors of the GTX), and Schwinn Osito, which seemed to be another good option for trail and street riding, but my husband said the GT is a higher-end bike, not found in big box stores, like Walmart and Target. I had it delivered to my house and dropped it off for assembly late one evening. It was ready early the following morning. I will replace the seat with something more comfortable. I did buy a Schwinn after-market seat at Walmart, but I had to remove the assembly in order to fit it on this bike. It fit, but the tilt was not adjustable, due to that tilt feature being part of the assembly/fit, so I returned it. The seat is not completely uncomfortable, but I definitely preferred the saddle of the Schwinn GTX and will seek a more comfortable seat, which is my only complaint about this bike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bike overall When I first bought this bike I was in love! Although I had to take it back along with my husbands due to the gears not changing fluently, I can’t say wether we did something or it came like that. Dicks took great care of us and fixed both within minutes and was very happy to do so.
