Holy grail of hiking! I bought this on a whim and I'm glad I did. It is super thick and feels like a quality piece. The functionality of the piece is the best part. I wore this in Toledo, Spain on a 105 degree day, in straight sunlight all day, walking about 10 miles- and I never once felt overly hot and sweaty or uncomfortable. I was honestly shocked considering how thick the material is. It performed SO well in such hot conditions. If you are debating getting this, just do it.
