Hard To Use

its a little tight for around the waist. it was hard to be able to move with out it poppy off. i wish that it was bigger. when i am talking about the waist area its not where the draw string is to tighten it, that part is fine. It is below that, its where the 2 parts meet that is not quit right. it is hard to get in the kayak with it on it already but there is no way you can put it on when u are already in it.

Bought this skirt for a Perception Swifty 9.5 DLX purchased from Dick's Sporting Goods - really needs it in even in slightly rough water. Easy to install, fits well, and keeps the water level inside of the kayak at a minimum.

The Skirt Is Good For Level 1 And Level 2 Rapids

It's a good spray skirt for beginners that can't find a spray skirt to fit the kayak. If your kayak has a small lip around the cockpit it may be hard to find a skirt that will stay on good. This spray skirt comes in several different sizes and has a drawstring where you fan make it tighter. Is the spray skirt comes off too easy just tighten up the drawstring in the back. Its not a bad beginner spray skirt and it comes a day good price. Most of the better why water Spray skirts are around $100. If you just want a spray skirt to help keep the water out of your kayak then this one should do the job as long as it's a level 1 or 2 rapid. Water will collect on top of the spray skirt. If this happens all you have to do is pull it up to where the water runs off. This skirt is not meant for level 3 rapids and up.

Good Fit

42/21 skirt fits the Perception Swifty nicely. Kept the water out and heard no complaints all day through some moderatly high rapids. Time will tell how it holds up as it is quite a bit lighter than my other skirts. A good skirt but i think $30 would have been closer to the products value.
