Great Features

I'm new to pickle ball and this paddle is great. Because it's wide it has a larger sweet spot for me to hit the ball straight, and is also more stable in my hand (doesn't twist when the ball hits it). The other nice feature are the small bumps, which enable me to put more spin on the ball.

Lite Weight

I bought this and haven't used yet. Our racquetball hasn't reopened yet because of covid but pickleball has so I play this week first time ever. Love the light weight feel compared to another brand that was highly touted. Paid up for it but I'd be shocked if I dont love it. I have been buying Head Liquid Metal racquets for rb for years and love them. Again I should have waited until I used but the feedback request came today so here it is:)

Wanted To Like It But Wasn't For Me

***8hrs of 3.5-4.0 level gameplay was used for this review) This paddle wasn't for me. I have an Onix Stryker 4 just for comparison. This paddle was a bit heaver (.2oz) I believe. The feel of the paddle just seemed of to me. The raised texture on the face of the paddle is for added spin but negatively affected my ball. I would seem to over compensate when the ball would either be hit long, or with too much topspin resulting in the net. The shape of the paddle too, I believe didn't fit my game all that much either. Volleys seemed to not go where I wanted them to along with dinks. The look of it was awesome, teal on one side and "salmon" on the other side. However I do have a buddy who loves this paddle, he just would like to check the non-lite version. He thinks that it adds to his topspin game with serving, hitting deep, etc. Hope this was an all around accurate review on this much anticipated but disappointing paddle.
