Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value for the price Perfect for a small backyard. Easy to install. My son is HS Freshman and this is enough space for him to get quality swings. We are using an L screen without pitching machine and this is working for him. I didn't want a permanent structure. This is exactly what I wanted. I will take it down at the some point and reinstall it again next Spring. I expect it to last through this season and next.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Easy To Set Up, Definitely Worth It I bought the cage for my 11 year old son and his team for batting practice. Set up was pretty much effortless. My son and I put it up in a matter of 45 minutes and he began hitting inside the cage, minutes after that. The instructions say to take the cage down before wind/rain/or snow hit because it can damage the fiberglass rods and netting. We had an early winter storm and we took the cage down before it happened. Needless to say, a few days later, we set it back up and it worked perfect. I use the heater baseball pitching machine with it and it is a lifesaver. My son and his friends will hit for hours and talk the whole night about how lucky they are to have a ball park right in our own backyard. I love it, and for the price it's unbeatable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good Idea - Poor Design I purchased this for my 7 year old son, so he could practice batting in our backyard. When we received it we were very excited to put it up, but once we took it out of the box we could see how poorly designed the unit was. The fiberglass rods are about 3 feet long and you need to assemble them in order and then tape them with the three rolls of electric tape that are included. One of of the rods had a factory defect and I had to make alterations to get it to go together. Putting it together took hours, although I only had help putting the net up. You need to be very carefull you don't damage the frame as you put the net over the fiberglass supports. After the cage was complete it looked pretty good and was fun for a day or so. Then, the next evening we got rain with very little wind and the frame buckled. I added two more support ropes to try to prevent it from happening again, but the next morning it happened again. They say you are supposed to take it down during windy storms, but it is too much work to take it down every time it sprinkles a little. I returned it two days later and purchased a quality net that I am making my own pvc frame for. Don't waste your money on this item.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice product. We did not intend to use this product outside. We set it up in our barn in a 40'x9'x10' area. It took a couple hours to set up since I did not use the poles that came with it. The netting is lightweight but has proven to be adequate so far. I would not want the hassle of set up and take down if this has to be used outside. I would find something with heavier netting if it had to stay outside. Overall, for our application, I have been very pleased with this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from a major pain to put up The poles that support the net are to flimsy . The groung stakes bend when hammering into ground the net gets too heavy when it gets wet and causes poles to bend u spend more time trying to keep the thing up then u do useding it will be returning to store for.a refund

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good The cage is a nice size for both of my teenage daughters to practice their softball hitting. They both play tournament ball and this cage has the space for them to work on their swing. It's a little tough to put up and ours has a bit of a bow to it, but it's plenty big and works well so far. We've had it about 2 weeks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good batting cage Having to use tape to keep the rods together was a little weird. Overall, it was very easy to put together. It would be nicer if there was a entry.
