Works Well With Some Adjustments
Bought this a few weeks ago for my boys who are 12 and 14. The size is good but it was a bit difficult putting together. It took all four of us and my neighbor to get it up. Seems it would have worked better if the poles snapped together rather than having to tape them together. We have to constantly take the ladder out back and fix the poles that come apart. Also, the cage and net blew over with every gust of wind. So we had to add 8 additional stakes and rope to each pole to hold it up from the outside. It helps holding the poles up but the netting still tends to slide so one end always has more netting than the other. Maybe some Velcro strips could help. I may have to try that if it continues. With that being said, the cage works ok and is holding up much better now with our adjustments. Maybe some minor improvements could be made to justify the $600 price tag but my boys don’t seem to care. They still have fun with it!

Great Machine!
I bought this for my son rather than spend money on video games. You should only use pitching machine balls - it is not meant for real baseballs and the machine balls are much more durable anyway. Working with this machine my son with his dedication was able to drastically improve his batting average. Last summer we culminated his little league career with a distract championship and a little league career total of 39 home runs. Not including the 8 he hit in Cooperstown with his travel team.

Works Ok
We got the machine in. It went together easy every thing worked. Took a few minutes to line up with base. The machine pitches real balls good. It throws them straight every time. The problem is the distance it will throw straight across plate perfect once than it will throw to high the next than to low. It also tears up the leather on the balls. I'm going to purchase balls made for machines maybe it will do better.

Product Was No Good
It is ineffective. Real baseballs do not work well at all and that is how they are trying to sell you. I took this product back and got my money back. Don't waste your time and money on this product.

Can't Beat The Price
This machine has been great. I bought it for my 10 year old son who is in little league and it has exceeded my expectations. The best thing about it was the price. I saw some pitching machines from Heater which were a few hundred dollars more, but I didn't want to invest in them until I knew my son was going to keep with baseball. One thing I really enjoy is the automatic ball feeder. I looked online and feeders alone are $200-$400. I can set a dozen balls in the feeder, get by my son and coach him as he hits. It's awesome. Another thing I noticed is the machine won't pitch fast if the tire doesn't have 45 psi in it. I read a review on this page just a minute ago that said the machine doesn't pitch fast. Not saying this is the case, but I had the same issue until I pumped the tire up. Especially with Heater Sports 60 MPH lite balls, I can't even hit the pitch. Overall, I've been very impressed with the machine. If my son keeps playing when he's about 13, I'll jump up to the Heater Sports curveball machine, but for now this is wonderful. Hope this helps, thanks!

Useless
This noise making unstable pitching device is only good for "farm". Lacks much of speed, lack accuracy and not good for minor and above. For the money "Louisville Slugger - The Blue Flame Ultimate Pitching Machine" is far better.

Good Pitching Machine For Soft & Dimple
This is a good machine .I`m using with softball and machine lite dimple balls(yellow ).The machine pitches them with acuracy .The inner circular motor (which spins & pitches the ball)is made of rubber.I`m using in the basement & so far it is working fine for me . The only problem is with the speed control. The speed knob moves freely to 10 different speed.Sometime when increasing or decreasing the speed is difficult to figure out the change in speed .The automatic ball feeder works fine .I would not use real baseball if have to keep it operational for long .It does good job with machine pitching balls .So far i am happy with it .

Good Value For The $
This product is a good overall value. Pitches lite balls very well and consistent. You can also use standard batting cage balls and real leather baseballs. The only con so far is that when using standard wieght balls it takes a long time for the wheel to speed back up. The auto ball feed takes much too long in between pitches. Thank goodness it can be removed.

Would Not Recommend
Shaft to the wheel broke after using three times. Would not recommend for real baseballs.
