This machine is WILDY inaccurate! I bought this machine to use with our 7U machine pitch pony team. Upon bringing it to practice we found that it was only accurately pitching maybe three out of every 10 balls. I figured maybe it was the balls that we were using so I bought some highly rated machine balls from Rawlings. That didn’t help at all. I’ve been up to the Annie and bought some even more expensive batting cage machine balls. This helped a little bit but still only six out of 10 pitches were even relatively near the strike zone. I’d like to say the inaccuracy might be effective for training a better to not swing at bad pitches but this machine will bounce balls 8 feet in front of the plate or send a pitch 4 feet over the batters head without changing a setting. The unpredictability for the most part ruined several practices so we decided to stop using this machine altogether. I decided to go ahead and buy the BP1 from from jugs and that machine (although far more expensive) will put eight out of 10 balls in the strike zone and when it does miss it’s only by a few inches. I’m not sure what I did wrong with this machine but my wheel is set at 17 psi on even ground (turf). I did all I could to ensure that this was not user error. I don’t even feel comfortable selling this machine to anybody.
