Go With The Larger Kaslo
I've had the Kaslo Tech backpack for several years and love the number of pockets and space it has. I decided to purchase the smaller 20L daypack for my middle school kid. Upon attempting to put a regular-sized water bottle in the side pocket, I realized the space was incredibly small and could barely fit a slim can.

Overengineered
This backpack has a sleek, minimalistic design and a lot of potential, but it suffers from being overengineered, especially in the front compartment. There are at least five slim sleeves intended for items like thin books, magazines, or documents, but realistically, most people would only need one. In addition, the front section is filled with tiny pockets that seem designed for things like paperclips or sticky notes, items that don’t justify that much dedicated space. It feels like the front compartment was designed with too much complexity and not enough practicality. Personally, I would have preferred less emphasis on that section in exchange for a roomier main compartment, especially since the carry-on sleeve suggests this is more of a travel backpack than a school one. Overall, it's a well-made bag with a sharp look, but the overthought front storage gets in the way of its real-world usability.

Good Commuter Bag
I’ve been using the bag for a week now. It fits all my items I need for my daily commute to NYC. I think the headphone pouch on the strap is a bit small. It just fits the case for my Sony’s. Because of this I can feel the pressure of the earbud case pressing against me when I’m walking. While the pocket there is handy, there is room for improvements.

Great Backpack
Streamlined appearance yet fits a decent amount of belongings. Water bottle holders are a bit too snug to easily insert a water bottle that’s larger than the size of a plastic water bottle but that is an OK tradeoff to me in exchange for the streamlined design.

Love This Backpack!!!
This backpack is great! I’m in school right now but applying to tech jobs and this bag fits exactly what I need. The old tropical printed Herschel won’t do for the office but this is perfect. At first I thought it was too small but that’s just because it looks so compact. This sucker holds my laptop, textbooks, notebooks, e reader, and school supplies. I love this thing it is great quality!
