Used them on a recent skiing trip. Handled the snow and ice great. The gloves came with a little sleeve of oil sealer. Make sure you use it, helps water proof the palms and keep the leather supple.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For starters, Hestra’s size selection allows for a more precise fit. Any 3 finger model is a slight compromise over a mitt for warmth, but you can always bring your index finger in as needed. They are reasonably warm, though not expedition gloves, and I expect to throw in warmers for temps in the low single digits (F), or below. The wrist/cuff adjustments function well. The soft leather makes for a very supple feel and were fairly nimble when tinkering with gear. The wrist strap/handcuffs were overkill for me and swapped with a traditional straps. Haven't owned long enough to attest to the durablity.

A friend had a pair of these and recommended them and I have to say, these are the best gloves I have ever had. I'm a downhill skier and the 3 finger design is perfect for functionality and warmth. I've worn them with and without liners and they are super comfortable, flexible and warm. After 5 decades skiing, these are the best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a pair of the Hestra Army Leather Heli Ski 3-Finger Gloves for my son snow boarding. The quality of materials and construction in these gloves CANNOT be beat! Comfort and warmth are excellent. I'd buy these again and again.
