Not As Shown, Not Well Thought Out.

Not as shown on website, the separate backpack is shown with a loop on top. There is no loop. Nor is there a place to store your water bottle. The bottle holder is on the main bag. Which does absolutely no good if you are using the detachable back pack as a day pack. I am replacing my older bag with a detachable pack from 10 years ago. It was perfect. You didn’t make it better.

Nice Idea But Not Ideal

Nice idea but clumsy - The front pocket of the exterior backpack is so open that things can fall out of it… It's also really hard to attach the outside backpack back on to the larger backpack. The zipper also would come apart from the back end.

Great Features! But A Weak Zipper That Broke

I frequently travel internationally for work. This convertible wheeled backpack has the perfect features - wheels, plenty of space for laptop and work materials, as well as a change of clothes, and converts to a backpack. I love the small backpack that can be removed and reattached with a zipper to the larger, wheeled backpack. The problem: on my third trip, while at an airport gate, I needed to zip the small backpack back onto the larger wheeled one, so they would be one carry on. The zipper broke. The front would not zip back onto the larger backpack. Such a great product, ruined with one weak zipper.

Really Great For A Few Days

Have had it for about a year and I’ve used it a couple of dozens of times and it’s great. Works great as an “overnight” bag if I’m traveling for a few days, it easily carries about 3 days of clothes and toiletries. The little bag is a bit narrow so that’s where my tablet goes and snacks, it is a little difficult to get the zipper started to put them back together but overall the 3-in-1 is awesome! Highly recommended.

Not As Good As The Previous Version.

Not as good as the old one. I like the large container of the old version. I'm not a fan of the two zippered compartments in this new version. I also prefer the larger zipper in the older version. The new smaller zippers are balky and tend to bind up more than the large zippers in the old one

I bought this along with the matching wheeled duffel as a gift for my nephew. He has a High Sierra backpack that is 20 years old that has traveled around the world. The Original Design Was Better

I had the original 3 in 1 and loved it. I could put my computer, coat, change of clothes, and tennis shoes in the bottom and put it in the overhead bin on the airplane. I could put my iPad, air pods, medicine, snacks, book, blanket, etc in the day pack to go under my seat. It was perfect! With the new design I had to leave my shoes behind and hand carry my coat. The dividers don’t give you room to expand. The day pack is so thin you can’t get much in it and it’s difficult to get things out of it. The smaller zipper section that I used on the day pack for my air pods is now part of bigger bag which takes up room in the divided section. The only design I wish they’d change was make the zipper attaching the day pack easier to use. I’m sad the zipper broke on the original version.

Love this. I can’t wait to try it out for Halloween weekend. It should be the perfect bag. I have so many high Sierra ski bags and ski boot bags. They have all been so incredibly sturdy. I’m excited to try this one

So I never do reviews but had to when I saw this bag. I have had the old version of this bag, my guess 20 years. I am not a world traveler but I use it 3-5 times a year. Last year a zipper broke on the removable back pack. Used the bag without the back pack to go to Costa Rica last week. Still works great but missed the backpack (couldn’t find it as I was going to get it fixed somehow). I am a minimalist when traveling so this covers me for 14 days as long as I can do laundry. I have a nap sack that I carry as well. I can only have one bag that I put under seat, they count my nap sack as the one item. Soo when I get to the door of plane I remove back pack this goes under seat, nap sack fits in pocket and rolling bag fits easily in the overhead compartment. LOVE this bag, would recommend it to anyone. I’m buying two cuz I may give one as a gift.

Great Carryon Combo

3 in 1 Rolling Backpack is very well made, although very stiff material. That may soften with use. It is heavier than I thought it would be and that was empty, so I can’t imagine how heavy it would be for me packed with my normal traveling gear. The daypack was hard for me to unzip from the larger backpack empty, so it might be harder when both packed. The daypack does not have a outside spot for a water bottle, it is on the larger one. I decided not to return this backpack, even though it would not work for me. I decided to give it to my 22 year old grandson instead. This backpack combo was not made for a traveling Mimi. I gave it a 4 because of its stiffness, otherwise it would have been a 5.
