It’s the size I was looking for. I had an older version that I used and loved for nearly 30 years, but the salt air in Hawaii made the old style metal/nylon zippers corrode and lock up. I finally couldn’t open them any more. So I just purchased this one and it’s great. The only thing I miss is that the old one was molded so it would leave airspace between my back and the backpack. That was really nice! I find my back sweating with this one. Otherwise it’s the perfect size to hold what I need with the water pack filled up!

Stylish And Comfortable
Excellent product, stylish and comfortable. My last High Sierra pack is still going strong, too.

15 Years Later
I was gifted this bag in 2009 and it just ripped slightly on top in 2024. I wasn't even sure the brand, but I had to look it up and give a review because 15 years of monthly hiking use on a bag is really impressive. Needless to say, I'll be buying another!

Best Value Hydration Pack
I purchased two hydration packs. One for me and one for my 12 year old son. They adjust perfectly to fit each of us. There is enough room to pack a wallet, snack, and a few other essentials.

Inexpensive Bag -- Good For One Season Of Use
I purchased this bag for running and cycling last spring. I used it for several months before the bladder sprang a leak. High Sierra kindly warrantied me a replacement bag. I used that bag for a few uses in the fall then stored it for the winter. After a couple uses this spring it now is leaking at the same place the previous bag leaked. It appears that when filled, the bladder creases at the bottom corner and causes a weak spot in the sealed edge. I'm so disappointed as I had hoped to take this with me on a 10k this past weekend only instead to have a wet back and but.
