Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good budget-priced pack. Used in Maine's 100 Mile Wilderness; Katahdin - Monson. Really loved the capacity and access this pack provided to the main compartment; sleeping bag compartment and H2O bladder compatibility. Priced sub $100 is a big plus too. To make this a perfect pack I would have included: Zippered pocket(s) on the hip belt. Slightly canted angle on water bottle pockets for easier 'reach back'. I blew out one of the side compression strap's stitches on one side. Also, I found the sternum strap always worked it's way up to the top limit of travel - I ended up having to tie it down to the main belt with cordage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Will Do It All! I keep this pack on hand whenever I have guest who want to go out. This backpack does it all. Guest can carry the essentials and if the desire throw in some extra comfort items too. New backpackers can enjoy all of the features of this pack and feel comfortable with them in a short time. I own 3 of these backpacks and they are my go to packs whenever I want to demonstrate the features of a backpack. I recommend this backpack particularly for backpackers are not fully settled on exactly what you are going to take out camping. This backpack will accommodate you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfort at its best! THIS BAG IS extremely big and can pack all your needs for A comfortable two three four five day weekend trip. I have Hiked with Kelties, North Face's and this is by far the most comfortable well thought out bag that I have put on my back!!Buckles, zippers, and everything u can think of works like a charm, nothing cheap at all on this bag period...Just remember, it's very large bag and you can over pack/overweight this bag in a heartbeat! !

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Bargain Just got back from testing the High Sierra backpack on a trip to the Boundary Waters of Northern Minnesota. I was pleased with most aspects of the pack. It functioned well and was low enough for me to easily portage my canoe comfortably on my shoulders. It's large capacity allows it to hold a great deal of gear. In regards to adjustability- I am 6'2" and 205 lbs - and had no trouble getting the straps into a good position. The waist belt could have been a little tighter though. I purchased a Kelty 80 liter for my Boy Scout son for this same trip - and conclude that the packs are of comparable quality. The only complaint I had was a chest buckle that popped off easily under little stress. The clip was able to be reattached with some effort - and the issue did not reoccur. Overall pleased with the purchase and others I'm my group were impressed that the price was so reasonable in comparison to their gear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Pack!!! Awesome pack!!! Was happy with it right out of the box. And the shipping was pretty fast as well. Was not too sure about the slide adjustment system for the chest straps, but after a couple times of heavy use, my worries where put to ease. This pack is solid, great for weekend trips. The only negative I could see, is this pack may get a little hefty on extended trips. Kind of heavy, but it is a monster pack! Over all, this is definitely my new go-to bag!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pockets for everything The Long Trail 90L is a great pack for the extend trails. I've carried up to 60lbs and bounce over and off rocks, logs, trees and hasn't failed.( the shoulder strap slid a few times). Only bad is no hip-belt pockets. It's a great pack and has been comfortable the 100 or so miles of testing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best pack I've had I went to philmont scout ranch and did a two week backpacking trip it was great. Had a ton of room for all the crew gear, personal gear, and gear that philmont provided. I had no tears, no slippage, and no issues. The built in rain cover is a great feature as well. It helped when all of the sudden there is a storm shows up. This was the perfect pack for being in the moutains for 2 weeks. I loved it and its a great pack over all.
