Shoutout To My Dad… He Ate With These Hokas

Okay, okay let me give credit where it’s due. My dad bought me these HOKA Clifton 9s for my first job at Sandcastle, and I hate to say it but… he snapped. I thought he was being dramatic “These got support, baby. You gon’ need ‘em.” Sir. I work at a waterpark, not the Olympics. But fast forward to me 6 hours into a shift, dodging sunburns, herding lost kids, and smiling through the chaos… and guess who wasn’t crying about foot pain? This girl right here. The Clifton 9s are like walking on firm mashed potatoes smooth, soft, and weirdly comforting. And light! Like they hired a wind spirit to carry my arches through the day. I didn’t even realize how much walking I did until I got home and my feet still said, “Wanna go out later?” Plus, the shoes are cute. Like, “yes, I’m here to work, but I’m still the flyest one on the clock” cute. My coworkers noticed. One even asked where I got them. I said, “My dad. He’s annoying but sometimes? He delivers.” So thanks, Dad. You did your thing. Don’t let it go to your head.
