Design Flaw And Not Durable
I was introduced to the Hola shoes by my orthopedic doctor after an achilles heel operation. I used the shoe for about 10 months and then had a second achilles heel operation on my other foot. I was down with a boot for over 4 months and then started wearing the shoes again and it is when I notice the problem with these shoes. The shoe is poorly made as the fabric that covers the plastic heel support is easy worn and cut. These heel support does not cover the entire surface of the heel of the shoe. That plastic is now exposed and the shoe is no good as it cannot be worn. The plastic edge has cut into my skin. I called Hola customer service and they were not interested as the shoe was past the 1 year warranty. I explained that I had not worn the shoes due to my operations and it did to matter. Note that the shoe never was put to the rated performance level of a running shoe that would only accelerate the wear on the heel fabric. For the cost I believe that the life span on these shoes should be more lasting and made of better quality. It is unfortunate because I really liked this shoes.

Great Shoes
I've bought this version of Hokas for over a year. Still like them as much as the first time I put them on.
