I have a surgically repaired ankle and a fairly prominent bunion of the big toe os the same foot, so about two years ago I researched athletic shows suitable for walking for my situation. HOKA shoes were suggested, and I began to use them exclusively. I have tried a few other styles, but it is the Clifton model that works best for me. They are lightweight, well-cushioned, and a nearly perfect fit. I track mileage on all my shoes, and I normally get over 500 miles of use per pair, important when buying a shoe priced above the usual brands. I am very glad that Dick's stocks these shoes!
