Shin Splint Nightmare

Do not buy these if you have ever had shin splints. I run everyday alternating between my Nike Pegasus 41 and Brooks Ghost 17 with no issues. I encountered shin splints within a quarter of a mile of my first run with these Hokas and could not make it an entire mile due to the pain. Not had shin splints since the 90s. Ran the next day with no issues what so ever in my Pegasus. Now all I have is a couple of expensive door stops as they cannot be returned for even store credit. I would not recommend buying running shoes from Dicks.
