Great Shoe

I bought my second pair of Hoka shoes and they didn’t disappoint. Very comfortable and has plenty of cushion for walking and running.

Good Shoe

Bought because they were on sale and felt comfortable. I was looking for the Clifton 9, but decided the Mach 6 because of the discounted price. They are really comfortable and feel great. I purchased to walk in and I a very pleased. I only gave a 4 because I prefer the Clifton 9.

Dramatic Change From Hoka Mach 4

My daily runners the past couple of years has been the Mach 4. As my first foray into the world of HOKA running shoes, they have been fantastic. Felt like running on a cloud and had good balance and stability. I've run them out, though, and needed a replacment. Decided to stick with HOKA due to my good experience with the Mach 4 and just get the newest version. I'm not sure why shoe companies feel the need to change shoes in the same line so dramatically year to year, but the Mach 6 was worse in almost every way. A little less comfortable due to a narrower toe box and body, more padding and a ridiculously large heel to toe drop that caused them to feel much more unstable. It literally felt like I was trying to run on stilts compared to the Mach 4. I just couldn't do it, so I returned them. It's a shame, the Mach 4 is such a good shoe.
