Good Shoes, Bad Heel

Good shoes over all, but prone to heel slippage and blisters.

Flimsy Shoe Structure

Bought this shoe on line, was quite surprised at how there was just no substance to the heel structure of the shoe.

Great Super Trainer!

Cushion you would expect from a Hoka, however light and responsive for those tempo/race days or whenever you need to pick it up during an easy run. The shoe is versatile whether you want to go easy, however really shines with a nice pop when you want to pick up the pace. The fit takes some getting used to, however after playing around with different socks, I found the right fit.

Pros & Cons

Pros: cheap on sale, no achilles rub since shoe is a little bigger but if tight fit then should be rub, long run comfort, can push pace if needed. Cons: heel does lick achilles but not rubbing, outsole wears easily at 40 mi, little narrow causing pinky toe sensitivity.
