I love this shoe. The heel isn’t very padded but I didn’t have any problems with heel slipping. I’ve read that some people do. Feels very energetic and springy.

Been Away From The Brand Too Long Apparently

the last time I tried Hoka they were still "Hoka One One" and the Clifton 3 was the best option for my foot shape and running style. But THESE are so much better. They are light, responsive, and generally comfortable. I had to make some lacing adjustments near the top to account for my ankle flex, the standard method was pinching and rubbing too much, even on short runs. I used these in a 5k running with my neighbor and we were running 40 sec/mi faster than effort felt like (compared to other shoes) and they also treated me well for a 7+ hour 40-mile run.

Bouncy And Fast, With A Significant Flaw

Really wanted to live in these - lightweight, fast, and bouncy, but unfortunately ripped through my right Achilles tendon. Had to return.

Great Show For Running

Bought a month ago and tested it for several rounds of 30mins treadmill runnings. Initially was worrying about my heel due to other’s comments, but so far I haven’t had any special or strange feeling on my heels. Will keep trying it to see if anything changes in the near future.

Hoka Racing Shoes

I purchased these for my husband and the product itself was fine it was just too narrow width for him so I had to return them! The shoe itself was great!

The cushioning is great, but the upper... the shoe is a THIN material. Duct tape is thicker material.
