The GTX version of the Speedgoat 5 feels slightly taller than the non-GTX version and is a bit warmer. Traction is great and I would recommend this shoe if your runs are frequently in a wet environment or snow. No complaints in cooler weather in the south but definitely not a summertime shoe unless necessary.

Awesome Shoes

Speed Goat 5 Is Crazy Comfy For A Running Shoe!
Wife purchased these shoes for me foe Christmas. I had never wore a pair of HOKA's and was extremely happy how they fit. I have been wearing them to the gym and think I might get another pair for everyday use.
