Different From The 9's
I’ve worn my Clifton 9s for the past couple of years and rave about them to everyone (people literally say I sound like a Hoka spokesperson). With an upcoming trip, I decided to grab a new pair and went with the Clifton 10s. I immediately noticed a difference. At first, I thought maybe they just needed to be broken in—although I don’t remember having that experience with my 9s. I’ve now been wearing them daily for about a week, and I’m noticing ankle and foot fatigue within about four hours. With my 9s, I can easily wear them for 12 hours without any discomfort. The Clifton 10s feel noticeably stiffer and less supportive. With my 9s, I feel almost propelled forward when I walk—that responsive, cushioned feel just isn’t the same in the 10s. Don’t get me wrong—they’re still lighter and more comfortable than most running shoes. But based on this experience, I’m considering switching to the Bondi line for the extra cushioning and comfort I’ve been used to with my Clifton 9s.

So Comfortable
I have worn Hoka Clifton shoes for 9 years now. I find them very comfortable and like the "rocker" effect which feels like it propels you forward even more when walking. I use them for walking/standing. My shoe size is 7.5 wide and these run true to size. I wish: 1) Hoka would offer more colors in the wide sizes. 2) Hoka would offer darker colors. Light-colored shoes just tend to look dirtier. 3) Hoka would make the Clifton 10 waterproof and in wide.
