Great Support!

This is my second pair of Hoka Gaviotas. I appreciated the sale price from Dick’s and the shipping was so quick! These are awesome shoes for overpronaters, with lots of cushion and support.

Comfort!

I bought the Gaviota about a month ago. I have worn the Bondi for years (and will continue to do so), but felt I needed a stabilizer shoe to alter back and forth. Great choice! The cushioning is very comfortable and the shoe fits well. I will say the toe box seems a bit wider which is fine for my foot, but possibly not for others. The foot is secure in the heal, but slides inside the toe box a little. It MAY be a tad shorter as I’m considering a half size length in the next pair. Poor Quality And Durability; Hoka Did Not Honor Its Warranty

So very disappointed - $200 including tax for a pair of shoes that lasted only a few months under very moderate use. For context, I do not run and purchase Hoka's for the support for my foot and knee problems. The adhesive that holds the sole to the shoe began separating on both well within their 1 year warranty period. Hoka refused to honor their warranty and said it was "normal wear and tear". Whether it is quality control issue and this was a one off, or a decline in the quality of their products, they should stand behind their shoes.
