During a lacrosse tournament, one of my daughter’s teammates gave her a Honey Stinger Energy Waffle. At first, I assumed it was just a nicely packaged gimmick. But after reading the ingredients and nutrition label, I saw that it provides a good amount of sugar and carbs—enough to help sustain energy for a period of time. Getting my daughter to fuel properly between games and before practices has always been a challenge. So finding something she actually enjoys and is willing to eat has been a real win.
