Balance on the bike is not good. It tends to wobble even when properly balanced. Stays on and has to be unplugged. There's better bikes available. Pass on this one. I'm already replacing mine.

I’m an avid cyclist and this winter with some of the deep freezes and storms that laid around for weeks it became tough to do normal road or mountain biking. So I was looking for something who would help me stay semi prepared to get back out on the road once this winery mess got out of here and this were coming bike is what I chose to use while I’m watching TV couple nights a week for a half hour 45 minutes just to stay loose and it serving its purpose

I bought this a little over a year ago and it has been used about 2 dozen times. Now that the parts are out of warranty things have started to fail despite the low usage. The display will just shutoff at random times while in use. I took the display off and checked that the connections are tight. I checked that the wall adapter is properly seated and secured to the outlet. Promblem persists. Yesterday it started to sqeak and today it got louder and the right pedal started to feel like it was grinding. When I checked the pedal it has alot of vertical movement like the bearing is shot. I know I didn't break the bank when I purchased this last year on sale at $549.99 plus tax, but for something with $999.99 regular price you would expext better. With the limited use this has had it tells me the quality is trash. Would NOT recommend. Guess I'll be saving up to buy something with a brand name I can trust.

5 star service from Dick's Sporting Goods! I purchased the stationary bike from Dick's Sporting Goods in Estero, Florida a few weeks ago. I am so happy that I purchased the stationary the bike. I have had hip and knee replacement surgery in the past few years. The bike allows me to get in better shape without further injury to my knee and hip. Dick's Sporting Goods assembled the machine in my condo without any problem. I highly recommend allowing them to assemble the machine. Special thanks to Coach Fassee at Dick's Sporting Goods Estero, Florida for giving me 5 star service for my purchase of the of the stationary bike. He made sure that I had a 5 star experience!
Extreme Disappointment
I purchased the Horizon 5.0R recumbent bike about two months ago. It turned out to be a disappointment. Several features don't work. To make things worse, I have emailed "Support" several times but have never. heard from them. I will rerun it because it is garbage and the company is lousy.

Set up of the bike was moderate as most people described on the review. The bike is very quiet and easy to program. What I really like about the bike is that the seat is easily adjustable. My husband and I both use it and there is a height difference. It takes less than 10 seconds to adjust the seat, which our last bike was impossible to adjust. Very happy with this bike.

The assembly failed because of a manufacturer's defect. They sent me a replacement part, the console mast, but that still will not bolt in correctly. I told them it must be the Main Frame that is damged.

I'm very disappointed in this purchase. The seat frame was welded together improperly and the bike cannot be assembled. The parts won't fit together. At all. Period. I've been in contact with Horizon for ten days and still can't get anyone to say what they are going to do to fix this. It looks like it could be a decent entry-level exerciser, but service after the sale totally blows. I would skip this manufacturer.

We bought this a few weeks ago. It took awhile to put it together. It wasn't real easy. We love the bike though.

When my delivery date for my Exercize bike was moved a day later, I was told I would still have the same 9am to noon delivery slot. I received no other emails of texts confirming out delivery, including the day before or the morning of (which was supposed to happen, according to their written material.) When I looked up the order, I saw the delivery window as 11-2pm, different from what the earlier worker told me. I had made an appointment in the afternoon I could not break without loosing money, so I called to see if they could push it earlier in the window. When 2:00 rolled around, I called the number and spoke to a live agent. The contacted the drivers and were told they were held up an an earlier delivery and would arrive by 2:40 - forty minutes after the end of the window. The first thing I expected was a call around 11 to tell me about when they thought they would get to my house. But I was couldn't believe they didn't call me to tell me they would be late. They did arrive 40 minutes late and I was luckily able to reschedule my appointment. The delivery guys did a good job and were fine to work with, but the underlying lack of communication was very frustrating and ate up a sizable portion of my day.

Got this about 2 weeks ago and have not been disappointed. I’ve done a long ride on it, approx 60min+ and was comfortable. The great thing about the cycle is how quiet it is. I’m able to exercise with this and not distract anyone while we watch TV. OVERALL prefect buy with a straight forward recumbent bike that gets the job done. (Assembly was simple, followed along with the YouTube video)

The first problem is that this bike beeps more than 30 times in the process of getting my workout ready. This cannot be turned off and the volume cannot be changed. That is once for every minute, added to the program as well as once for every time you change the resistance. A FAQ which I discovered after the bike was all assembled and the packaging material all thrown away indicates that this is intended as a safety feature. But that logic only makes sense for changes in resistance, which is not nearly as much of a bother as from the changes in the time because you pressed that so many times to get to 45 minutes or an hour of exercise. Second, the bike does not remember my settings from the so there is no way to avoid most of these by simply choosing the prior settings unless you want the default amount of time and the default amount of resistance. Since those are 0% resistance and 30 minutes, that’s not enough for my needs. In addition, the bike does not seem to like to turn itself off all the time. There are times when the bike seems to think it is on pause and wants to remind you every few minutes to go deal with it. The directions say that you should hold the stop button for three seconds in that situation, but doing so does not prevent the beeping. When the bike is in that state, the only solution I can find, is to turn the bike off by unplugging it, and then plugging it back in. That feels very crude and is likely to shorten the life of the bike. Another annoyance of the bike, relative to the other three or four stationary bikes that I have owned, is that the programs offered a very basic. Compared with my Schwinn, which offered a variety of interesting mixtures of resistance, here the choices are limited and dull. It does, however, as promised, run quietly while you are peddling it. It feels pretty solid and steady. However, there are a couple of plastic pieces that snapped into place during assembly that don’t seem to stay locked in place. While these are not operating parts it doesn’t look very good and I keep having to snap them into place.
