Good For The Price

This is not the very best recumbant you can own, but it works - it is smooth - it does the basics. My heart rate isn't working and I'm not that interested in debugging the problem since I use the rate on my watch anyway. The instructions are horrible - I have never seen such limited instructions - but again - if you are not looking for anything fancy this works.

Not A Great Replacement For A Spin Bike

I had been spinning for years but recently changed to a recumbent due to prostate issues. My two biggest issues with the bike are it's resistance level isn't strong enough at the upper zones (80/90/100) compared to spinning, which makes it impossible to do low RPM stints at a high perceived level of exertion. And in my opinion, the 10 and 20 resistance is useless. My other issue is it take a excessive amount of time for the resistance to change. . . that is, if you're doing HIIT sprints (30 on/30 off for example), going from a 90/100 to a 30/40 takes 15 to 20 seconds to fully adjust, which isn't great. On the plus side, it is a very comfortable bike, and I love how the handle bars are right in front and narrow, which makes it very easy to touch the buttons. I also like the full range of stats, especially the watts expended. Fan is nice, and everything is easy to adjust. I would probably give this 4/5 stars if I were a less aggressive spinner.

My Bike Review

Assembly was easy and bike has solid construction. Seat is large and well made but could use a little cushioning.
